Aditya Stainless, a prominent manufacturer and supplier located in Kolkata, India, specializes in high-performance AWS Class E410-16 Welding Electrodes, perfect for welding martensitic stainless steels. These electrodes shine in applications that demand high strength, wear resistance, and moderate corrosion resistance. You’ll find E410-16 electrodes commonly used in structural components, tools, and parts that face abrasion and heat. Aditya Stainless prides itself on precision manufacturing, consistent quality, and strict adherence to international standards. With a reputation for reliable service and customer satisfaction, the company supplies E410-16 electrodes to various industries, including automotive, power, oil and gas, and fabrication sectors both in India and abroad.
AWS Class E410-16 Electrodes are mainly made up of chromium (11.5–13.5%), along with carefully controlled amounts of carbon, manganese, silicon, and iron. These electrodes create martensitic weld metal that can be air-hardened and tempered to boost mechanical properties. Typically, the tensile strength ranges from about 620 to 750 MPa, with a yield strength close to 450 MPa and an elongation of around 20%. The weld metal is hardenable and provides solid resistance to abrasion and oxidation at moderate temperatures. To enhance toughness and minimize the risk of cracking due to the hard, brittle martensitic structure, post-weld heat treatment is often recommended.

These electrodes offer moderate corrosion resistance and are designed for welding stainless steel to itself or to carbon steel. They typically come in sizes like 1/8″ (3.2mm), 5/32″ (4mm), and 3/16″ (4.8mm), providing flexibility for various applications.
Featuring excellent corrosion resistance, these electrodes are used for welding stainless steel components, especially in demanding environments. Common sizes include 1/8″ (3.2mm), 5/32″ (4mm), and 3/16″ (4.8mm). Their heavy coating ensures better arc stability and coverage.
These electrodes provide robust corrosion resistance and are suited for shielding gas protection applications. They are available in sizes such as 1/8″ (3.2mm), 5/32″ (4mm), and 3/16″ (4.8mm), offering reliable performance in various welding conditions.
To ensure complete transparency and maintain strict quality control, we provide an extensive range of documentation along with our AWS Class E410-16 Electrodes. This includes a commercial invoice, packing list, heat treatment chart, fumigation certificate and a quality assurance plan. Additionally, we offer a lab test report approved by NABL. For further assurance, we supply an MTC in accordance with EN 10204/3.1b, a PMI Test Certificate, a 100% radiography test report and a Third Party Inspection Certificate. Our comprehensive documentation reflects our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
AWS Class E410-16 Welding Electrodes are primarily utilized for welding 12% chromium martensitic stainless steels like Type 410. You’ll often see them in applications such as turbine blades, pump shafts, valve seats, and other high-strength components in the power generation, petrochemical, and automotive industries. They’re also great for overlays on carbon steels where wear and oxidation resistance are essential. These electrodes are well-suited for components that endure high mechanical stress, moderate heat, and mild corrosive environments.
