Stainless Steel 317 Sheets and Plates are crafted from an austenitic stainless steel alloy that contains around 18-20% Chromium, 11-15% Nickel, 3-4% Molybdenum, and a maximum of 0.08% Carbon. The inclusion of molybdenum enhances its resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, especially in chloride environments. These sheets and plates boast a minimum tensile strength of 515 MPa, a yield strength of at least 205 MPa, and an elongation of 35% over 50mm.
