SS 304 features around 18% chromium and 8% nickel, while SS 316L boasts 16–18% chromium and 10–14% nickel. The mechanical properties include a tensile strength of at least 485 MPa, yield strength of at least 170 MPa, and elongation of at least 35%. These fittings are produced according to ASME, DIN, SMS, or ISO standards, featuring smooth finishes (Ra ≤ 0.8 μm or better) that ensure easy cleaning and excellent flow characteristics.
