Aditya Stainless stands out as a leading manufacturer and supplier of EP (Electropolished) Fittings in Kolkata, India. They specialize in providing ultra-clean and corrosion-resistant solutions tailored for hygienic and high-purity process systems. The process of electropolishing these fittings effectively removes surface impurities, resulting in a smooth, passive, and highly polished internal surface finish, typically achieving Ra ≤ 0.4 μm. Crafted from stainless steel grades like SS 316L, these fittings find their place in industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotech, food & beverage, semiconductors, and cleanrooms, where maintaining product purity and sanitary flow is essential. Aditya Stainless offers a comprehensive range of EP elbows, tees, reducers, unions, and ferrules.
EP Fittings are primarily constructed from SS 316L, which consists of 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and ≤ 0.03% carbon. This specific composition provides superior resistance to chlorides, acids, and oxidizing agents. Following the electropolishing process, the fittings showcase a micro-smooth internal surface (Ra ≤ 0.4 μm or better), significantly lowering the chances of microbial growth and contamination. Their mechanical properties include a tensile strength of at least 485 MPa, yield strength of at least 170 MPa, and elongation of at least 35%. Additionally, electropolishing enhances the passive chromium oxide layer, further boosting corrosion resistance and prolonging the fittings’ lifespan in challenging environments.

EP fittings are components made from electroplated steel or stainless steel, offering enhanced corrosion resistance and durability. They are used in plumbing, industrial, and harsh environmental applications for reliable connections.
SS EP welded fittings are stainless steel fittings with an electroplated coating, providing enhanced corrosion resistance and durability. They are welded into place, ensuring strong, reliable connections in various applications.
Stainless steel EP clamps are corrosion-resistant, electroplated clamps used to secure hoses, pipes, or tubing. They offer durability and strength in harsh environments, ensuring reliable, long-lasting connections.
SS EP return bends are stainless steel, electroplated bends designed to change the direction of pipes or tubing. They provide corrosion resistance and durability, ensuring reliable performance in various industrial applications.
Stainless steel seamless EP fittings are corrosion-resistant components with an electroplated finish, offering durability and strength. They provide smooth, continuous connections without welds, ideal for high-pressure and harsh environments.
SS EP unions are stainless steel, electroplated connectors designed to join two pipes or tubes. They provide a durable, corrosion-resistant solution with a secure, easily detachable coupling for maintenance or replacement.
EP Fittings play a vital role in ultra-high purity systems where surface cleanliness, corrosion resistance, and smooth fluid flow are paramount. They are commonly utilized in pharmaceutical plants, bioreactors, clean-in-place (CIP) and sterilize-in-place (SIP) systems, food-grade processing lines, and semiconductor manufacturing. These fittings are crucial for ensuring product sterility and adherence to ASME BPE, FDA, and GMP standards. Their mirror-like internal finish minimizes the risks of contamination, product retention, and turbulence in fluid flow.
