Stainless Steel 15-5 PH Bars are made up of about 15% chromium, 4–5% nickel, 0.15% carbon, 2.5–4.5% copper, along with trace amounts of manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, and niobium to boost toughness. After undergoing heat treatment (H900 condition), these bars achieve a tensile strength of at least 1310 MPa, a yield strength of at least 1170 MPa, and an elongation of around 10%. The 15-5 PH alloy also excels in hardness, impact resistance, and stress corrosion cracking resistance, making it perfect for critical, high-load components. It retains its mechanical integrity even at elevated temperatures and is easy to machine in both the solution-treated and aged states.
