Stainless Steel 201 Sheets and Plates are made from an austenitic chromium-nickel-manganese alloy, featuring around 16-18% Chromium, 3.5-5.5% Nickel, and 5.5-7.5% Manganese. This unique blend provides outstanding formability and corrosion resistance in mild environments. The mechanical properties include a minimum tensile strength of 520 MPa, a yield strength of at least 275 MPa, and an elongation of 40% over 50mm. With a density of 7.8 g/cm³, these sheets and plates can handle intermittent service temperatures up to 870°C, making them ideal for cost-effective yet high-performance applications.
