Stainless Steel 304H Flanges is a high-carbon version of 304 stainless steel. It is intended for high-temperature applications. Its composition consists of 18-20% chromium, 8-10.5% nickel, and up to 0.04-0.10% carbon, along with trace elements of manganese, silicon, phosphorus, and sulfur. This alloy provides excellent corrosion resistance, especially in acidic and chloride environments. It has higher tensile strength (515-720 MPa) and yield strength (205 MPa) than 304, and it has a moderate hardness of 201 HB. It is generally used in chemical, petrochemical, and power generation industries for flanges, fittings, and other high-temperature applications because of its good weldability and formability.
