Aditya Stainless, a reputable manufacturer and supplier based in Kolkata, India, proudly offers a top-notch selection of Stainless Steel 316/316L Angles. These angles are celebrated for their outstanding corrosion resistance and structural integrity, making them perfect for tough environments like marine, chemical, and pharmaceutical sectors. Crafted with precision, SS 316/316L angles boast excellent weldability, formability, and durability. The 316L variant, with its lower carbon content, is particularly suited for applications that demand resistance to sensitization and intergranular corrosion. Aditya Stainless adheres to global standards such as ASTM and ASME, ensuring that they deliver quality products to clients both at home and abroad.
Stainless Steel 316/316L Angles are primarily composed of 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, and 2–3% molybdenum, which enhances their resistance to chlorides and acids. The 316L version features a lower carbon content (<0.03%), which improves weldability and reduces carbide precipitation. In terms of mechanical properties, these angles have a tensile strength ranging from 485 to 620 MPa, yield strength between 170 and 310 MPa, and an elongation of 40%. They also demonstrate remarkable toughness, even at cryogenic temperatures, with a Brinell hardness of up to 217. Their strong chemical composition and mechanical reliability make them ideal for load-bearing and corrosion-sensitive structural applications.
