Stainless Steel 316L Stud Bolts are composed of 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and a maximum carbon content of 0.03%, which helps reduce the risk of sensitization during welding. They boast a tensile strength of around 485 MPa, a yield strength between 170–200 MPa, and an elongation of about 40%. The inclusion of molybdenum significantly boosts resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, particularly in environments exposed to chloride.
