Stainless Steel 347 and 347H are stabilized austenitic alloys containing iron, chromium (17-19%), nickel (9-12%), and titanium (5xC to 0.60%). The small amounts of manganese, silicon, and carbon are also present in the alloys. Stainless Steel 347 has excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion, and 347H has higher carbon content for strength at elevated temperatures. Mechanical properties include up to 515 MPa tensile strength, 205 MPa yield strength, and 40% min elongation that makes them suitable for use in high temperature.
