Stainless Steel 348H Bars are mainly made up of chromium (17–19%) and nickel (9–13%), with columbium (niobium) and tantalum added for stabilization. They also have a higher carbon content than standard 348, which enhances their high-temperature strength. In terms of mechanical properties, these bars boast a tensile strength of about 585 MPa, a yield strength of around 240 MPa, and an elongation of 35%.
