Stainless Steel 410 is a martensitic stainless steel that contains 11.5-13.5% chromium, along with low carbon content and trace amounts of manganese, silicon, and nickel. This unique composition grants it moderate corrosion resistance, outstanding wear resistance, and impressive strength after heat treatment. Its mechanical properties include a tensile strength ranging from 450 to 750 MPa, a minimum yield strength of 205 MPa, an elongation of 20%, and a Brinell hardness of up to 183 HB when annealed, with even higher hardness when hardened.
