Stainless Steel 904L Tube Fittings are made up of 19–23% chromium, 23–28% nickel, 4–5% molybdenum, along with trace amounts of copper (around 1–2%) and a very low carbon content (≤ 0.02%). This unique blend of elements grants them outstanding corrosion resistance, particularly against strong reducing acids. Their mechanical properties are impressive, featuring a tensile strength of at least 71,000 psi (490 MPa), yield strength of at least 31,000 psi (220 MPa), and an elongation of at least 35%. SS 904L also boasts excellent toughness and weldability, making these tube fittings capable of enduring high pressures and temperatures while ensuring tight, vibration-resistant seals in critical fluid or gas applications.
